Typhoon's Awakening is a horror game based on mythological narration, which is happening during the start of the 21st century.
A strange phenomenon is occuring everywhere on Earth ; As night falls, people are suffering from tremendous heatwaves.
It seems the source of these heatwaves are coming from inside Earth itself.
The story is focused on Zack Miller, an expert in geology which is to find the cause of this scourge, exploring the area with the highest worldwide temperature peak.
Your investigations will lead you to the depths of the Earth, where you will learn a terrible truth that has been kept hidden, and long forgotten by the world.
Typhoon's Awakening is a Myth psychological horror solo game, first person, the three main branchs of gameplay are Exploration, Puzzles, and Looting.
Typhoon's Awakening is a game/prototype created by a SINGLE PERSON within 4 months (1650 hours of work), and without budget.
I did few prototypes by the past, but it was the first time I launched myself in such a big project.
I am a young environment artist and game/level designer based in Montpellier (France).
This is a Game Prototype Version/first release.
Its a whole game, which has been made without any budget, so its most likely a glimpse of what the concept of the game would have been, if it had budget.

About 2 to 4 hours on first gameplay.
Save system ;
-There is a save system in Typhoon's Awakening, each time you clear a map and get into the next one, your progression on the lore is saved for the session.
--> PROGRESS WONT BE SAVED if you quit the game.
The game is meant to be played within a single session to get the full experience / as the game happens during a single night.
Endings ;
There is two endings to Typhoon's Awakening, the normal one, and a secret one.
To get to the secret one, you'll need to be curious and carefully explore the areas you are to explore through the game.
